Our Mission
2Tuff2Talk is an organization of volunteers who help construction workers and their families in NW Ohio navigate mental health issues by educating front-line supervisors, providing resources, and guiding them through the roadblocks in the mental health system with a boots-on-the-ground approach.

Crisis Onsite Program
When a mental health crisis happens on a job site, it affects everyone. 2Tuff2Talk can help to coordinate professional counseling and support on your job site while ensuring confidentiality.
Advocacy Program
2Tuff2Talk is happy to help union employees understand how their Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and mental support systems work. It can be very confusing!
Mentor Program
Union employees who are new to the skilled trades can receive guidance from a seasoned professional who can help you successfully navigate and adapt to your new career in the construction industry.

Meet The Board
Greg Burkhart
VICE PRESIDENT
Greg Burkhart, Director of Safety and Training at the Associated General Contractors of Northwest Ohio, draws on 34 years of fire service experience to support 350 union contractors and over 14,000 union members. He helped establish Confined Space Training Services, a division of AGC, providing essential training nationwide on confined entry and rescue since 2007.
Lee Daher
TREASURER
Lee Daher, a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America for over 24 years, serves as Senior Business Representative for the Central Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters. He is also the Senior Political Director for Ohio and is involved in community roles such as the Lucas County Workforce Development Board. Currently residing in Sylvania, OH, Daher actively participates in local affairs.
Jackie Miller
SOCIAL MEDIA COMMITTEE LEAD
Jackie is the Talent and Training Coordinator at Mosser Construction. She is well qualified to make meaningful change in the world of construction, while advocating for mental health, suicide prevention and substance abuse awareness. Jackie enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and off roading.
Dylan Orwig

Dylan Orwig is deeply involved in the Northwest Ohio community with support from The Lathrop Company. He participates in numerous local non-profits and organizations, including 2Tuff 2Talk, Team Recovery Inc., United Way, and the Alzheimer's Association. Additionally, he contributes to Economic Development and Community Organizations while balancing his role as a husband and father of three.
Babette Burnett CHST COSS COSM

Babette Burnett, CHST COSS COSM, is the Health and Safety Director at The Spieker Company in Northwood, Ohio. She is a founding member of 2Tuff2Talk Mental Health and Suicide Prevention in Construction. Inspired by a tragic event in 2016, she's dedicated to providing mental health support for construction workers.
Mary Gregory

With 20 years of NW Ohio business experience, including 15 years in the union construction industry, Mary Gregory brings a unique perspective to both her employer Nooter Toledo as well as 2Tuff 2 Talk. Gigs she excels in and enjoys include execution of strategy, project management, business development, sales, workforce development, and research/reporting.
Attorney Jean Sieler
AT LARGE
Attorney Jean Sieler at RCO Law concentrates on construction law, medical malpractice defense, commercial litigation, and agribusiness. She handles cases in Michigan and Ohio, assisting clients with real estate, financial matters, construction disputes, and medical malpractice defense. Sieler is experienced in guiding clients through various legal issues, from lien rights to contract enforcement and collections, including multi-million dollar verdicts.
Michelle Searcy, CHST
SOCIAL MEDIA COMMITTEE LEAD
Michelle, with 19 years of experience in EHS in General Industry and Construction, has worked in various sectors like construction, petrochemical, utilities, and surface mining. Her passion for mental health stems from working on projects where workers were away from their families for long periods of time and from dealing with addiction issues. Michelle, a federally authorized OSHA Outreach construction trainer, emphasizes the importance of psychological safety in the workplace. In her free time, she trains for ultramarathons and cherishes moments with loved ones.
